The book is the first English edition of an article which was publised in an academic jounal in 1994. The purpose of this book is to demonstrate that Shi'ite Islam is a genuine, legal and spiritual expression of traditional Islam, both in orthodoxy and orthopraxy. The goal of this book, as the writer says is to menifest that Shi'ite Islam is the living expression of original Muhammadan Islam, perfetly preserved by his successors, the Holy Imams from the Prophetic Housefhold.
