Book #3 - Inspired from the 20th Supplication of "As-Saheefatus Sajjadiyyah"

The book “Soaring Towards Goodness” is an excerpt from his famousDua-e-Makarimil Akhlaq. In this dua, the Imam (as) teaches us that the desires of a seeker of perfection should not be entirely materialistic in nature. Spiritual and moral contexts also need to be addressed. In short, we need to make sure that when we pray for worldly gains, we must not forget to pray for spiritual growth anddevelopment. We hope that this piece will attract the attention of children towards the significance of dua, and learn them how to communicate with God.

"As-Saheefatus Sajjadiyyah" is a precious collection of duas of Imam Zaynul Aabideen (as). It truly deserves the title "The Zabur of Aale Muhammad (saw)" that it has earned. But unfortunately, it did not get the attention it deserved. It still is sone of the undiscovered treasures in the Muslim World.

The Series "Let's Pray with Imam Sajjad (as)" introduces four supplications from the book. They have been adapted from the original version to suit the needs of its intended readers, i.e. children. It is hoped that this series will help children familiarize themselves with ""As-Saheefatus Sajjadiyyah" at an early age, increasing their desire to completely discover it on their own, later in life.
